Solutions / 05  ·  Import Operations Partner Network

When the solution needs more than consulting, we bring the right resource to the table.

MGS can evaluate the operational need, help assess existing providers, connect you with a vetted brokerage, logistics, warehousing, or specialized partner, and remain involved from the trade compliance side so execution stays aligned with the customs strategy.

Recognize this?

Signs you may have a problem.

Your current provider is responsive, but recurring errors or delays keep appearing.
You are not sure whether the problem is the provider, your instructions, or the underlying import process.
A specialized shipment needs a broker, carrier, warehouse, or operational resource you do not currently have.
You want another set of eyes on provider cost, service, or customs execution.
A compliance solution has been identified, but an outside licensed or operational provider is needed to execute part of it.

Where we look

What MGS checks.

Technical depth

Capabilities.

Partner coordination

  • Customs broker partner coordination.
  • Freight and logistics partner coordination.
  • Warehousing partner coordination.
  • In-bond and specialized movement support through appropriate partners.

Evaluation

  • Provider evaluation and second-opinion review.
  • Transition and handoff support when a different provider is appropriate.

Oversight

  • Ongoing MGS compliance oversight while the partner executes operational work.
  • Alignment between the partner’s instructions and your compliance requirements.

Who does what

MGS advises and coordinates. The partner executes.

MGS is not a customs broker, freight forwarder, or warehouse. When execution sits outside our direct scope, the appropriate licensed or operational partner handles it, and we stay on the trade compliance side.

MGS: advisory and coordination

We work out what is needed and stay involved.

  • Evaluate the operational need and what capability is actually missing
  • Assess existing providers against your compliance requirements
  • Connect you with a vetted partner and coordinate the handoff
  • Keep execution aligned with the customs strategy
  • Continue compliance oversight while the partner works

Vetted partner: licensed and operational execution

They perform the regulated or operational work.

  • Customs entry filing and bonds, by a licensed customs broker
  • Freight and logistics movements
  • Warehousing and handling
  • In-bond and specialized movements
  • Day-to-day operational execution
For customs brokers and freight forwarders We also support brokers and forwarders behind the scenes, including on a white-label basis, when an importer client needs classification, recovery, or CBP work. The relationship stays yours.

What success looks like

You get access to the right operational resource without losing the compliance strategy or context that caused the need in the first place.

Common questions

Asked in importers' own words.

Do we actually need a different broker?

Not always. Recurring errors can come from the instructions the broker was given, the supplier documents they receive, or the import process itself. We look at the provider’s workflow and your requirements together before recommending a change.

Is our current provider causing these recurring clearance problems?

We check entry quality, responsiveness, recurring errors, and escalation handling, and whether the provider’s instructions match your actual compliance requirements. Sometimes the provider is the issue. Sometimes it is what they were told.

Who can handle this specialized import requirement?

When a shipment needs a broker, carrier, warehouse, or in-bond movement you do not currently have, we evaluate what capability is actually missing and connect you with a vetted partner. The licensed or operational partner performs the execution.

Can someone help us evaluate our current providers without immediately replacing them?

Yes. A second-opinion review of cost, service, and customs execution does not commit you to a transition. If a change is appropriate, we support the handoff so nothing is lost between the old provider and the new one.

Can MGS stay involved if another partner has to execute the work?

Yes, and that is the point. MGS remains on the trade compliance side while the partner handles brokerage, logistics, or warehousing, so execution stays aligned with the customs strategy that identified the need.

Need a resource you do not have?

Tell us what the shipment or the program needs. We will evaluate what is missing and, where it makes sense, bring in the right partner from our vetted network.
